The best for such kind of websites is Dedicated Servers, there is no way to have big websites using a lot of RAM / CPU without being dedicated server.
I recommend you pick a strong dedicated server with a good web server and optimized server for such things and also a CDN Network.

Managed Servers Or Unmanaged ones are the ones that will suit your requirement.
From my personal experience Digitalocean, Vultr, AWS can handle that.
Now if you can manage it yourself ok else hire a system admin or something like cloudways.

Well, get a beefier server. But, is that processing needed? For example, are you fetching realtime data on each page load? If not, look into caching. You could use cloudflare, for example. Or you could probably spin another server with a nginx reverse proxy, that caches your pages (and then serve the website from that proxy, not from the original server).
In case you are pulling realtime data, may be don't pull it while the initial page is loading. Instead do it with an ajax call, after the page has loaded (and cache that call for a few seconds may be).

It doesn't matter which provider will choice but what hardware he will offer you.
You are looking for at least VPS with multiple cores of over 3Ghz each and of course SSD with over 500Mb/s R/W speed and you should be fine.
Keep on mind that bad coded php scripts or stoneage versions always result to bad performance.
