Looking for help with clickbank

I hope this is in the right area. I have been working on CB for about a month now with nothing to show. I can only work part time because I have a full time job but nothing is working.

I have tried multiple methods from YT videos to craigslist responders and have not made a single dollar. I know this is asking a lot but I was hoping someone who is experienced in CB and knows how to make money could kind of take me under their wing. I am not asking for someone to do the work. I want to do the work and if you want to set up a split share of the profits for awhile I would be fine with that. I just really need the extra income. My wife is a teacher so she does not make a lot and we are about to have our second kid. (sob story I know)

Again any help is appreciated. I am trying my hardest and am sure it is just a creativity problem on my end, I just am at my wits end with what to do.

You need targeted traffic, think about it. And do experiment yourself. If you can get targeted traffic for your niche, this way potentially makes first sales. After the first sales, you can make many sales.

My experience with clickbank is most "products" are guides, so another factor is many of these tend to have major fluctuations in purchasing periods.
Eg. weight loss products sell right when summer starts (swimsuit season) and right around new years (for NY resolutions).

Another factor is how badly the buyer wants to part with their money. Someone with poor body image is more likely to spend money wanting to fix it than someone wanting to learn magic tricks is instead of just using google. (weak example I know but it gets the point across)

So you really need a good product that you can combine a) target b) timing c) willingness to spend.
A can be resolved - I've played with google & bing ppc, but it's a lot of effort revolving accounts and taking advantage of coupons - which you'd need to do to stay profitable until you learn the in's and out's (I never got there). Or I'm sure there are other methods than just having a website that can work.

So focus first on picking a product that is likely to sell in the next few months - and whose target market is able/willing to spend $$.

Maybe something like a guide for an upcoming video game or something would be a good pick, bunch of schoolkids with time on their hands during summer.. no bills or expenses mean they have money to burn.

Then work out a way to get your ads/links in front of those kids.

Thanks for the advice guys. I have been trying to get targeted traffic I just seem to be unable to do it. I am trying my hardest though and I guess I will just keep at it. I do try to use products that I think are popular and will always have a need but I can't seem to get people to even look at the form much less fill it out. I've had some where over 100 people clicked the link and only 6 went to the form. None converted.

Thanks for the advice again though. I will just keep pushing through.

That is a great idea. I was using yt and routing them to my own page but didn't think of an email sign up. Thanks for the advise.

Have you tried paying for traffic? I know you are a budget
however you can get traffic from Facebook for as little as
$5-10 a day

2 Bonus tips
1. Work on building your list daily
2. Email that list daily

That's good advice but I'm not sure how in would go about building a list
