Looking for Guidance Into the Deep Web

Hey BHW,

I’ve been doing some reading on the deep web / dark web and realized that most people only know the “surface” level of the internet (Google, social media, YouTube, etc.). I’m interested in exploring the other layers of the web, for research purposes — things like:

• Understanding how the deep web works technically
• Safe browsing practices (privacy, security, OPSEC)
• The difference between deep web vs. dark web, and how to avoid the sketchy/illegal stuff

If anyone here has resources, tips, or could point me in the right direction (guides, safe forums, tools, security practices), I’d really appreciate it.
