i dont like godaddy because it connected to google..

You could use Enom.com I don't know if they are in canada but they are a large reliable domain registrar.

whats the budget and hosting requirements? i dont generally recommend any generic shared hosting accounts, for blackhat, start at reseller level plans, then they wont bitch about cpu usage so fast at least...

I am with dreamhost, great company, like the fact that space, and bandwidth keeps growing.

downside, no cpanel. I have gotten used to it now, just forced me to do most everything with ftp.

I also have a hostgater reseller account, for my moneysites/whitehat stuff.
