Looking for FTP hosting with allot of storage

Hi,

I edit and create videos and looking for somewhere to store them as a backup.

So im looking for a cheap FTP hosting solution for these.

Can anyone help? all videos are owned by me so copyright won't be and issues and they wont be shared or streamed only for backup.

Depends on exactly how much space you need and what sort of money you want to spend. My initial thought though would be to look at a server from OVH or hetzner - install linux on it and set up your own FTP server.

OR, if its really just for failsafe backup rather than for regular access, why don't you look at Livedrive - they offer unlimited backup for a very affordable price.

Looking for about 1TB or 2 Tb, id prefer something managed

Why not store them in a physical hard drive that you own(and may be have a slave drive to act as a backup of the backup)? That way, you won't have to pay a per month fee and if you ever need any video, the transfer will be very quick.

why dont try some cloud solution or similar?

Were currently using a NAS storage solution but if i need to access files remotely this becomes and issue. Yes i would also like to use a cloud solution thats why im looking for recommendations lol

Dropbox plus comes with 1TB storage, that would work for cloud sharing and backup / revision history.

Or Dropbox pro for 2TB but I think there’s a fair price jump.

Other options to look at would be brickftp, or look For a corporate provider of owncloud - that’s similar to Dropbox.

Or maybe seedboxes might work.
