After creating a six-figure business and running it for 7 years before it's decline, I created a website/blog around philosophy+entrepreneurship (stopped after 27 posts, roughly 1 post per week), I went to work on a book around the same topic. I'm just about done with the first draft of the book, and was looking for feedback on a situation I'm in.
I've been placed in an urgent situation where I need to be making an extra minimum $3,000 within the next 1-2 months. Ideally, I'd like to capitalize on what I have, rather than getting a job.
My monthly living expense is $2750 per month
I have $8,000 right now, willing to invest a little to move faster
I need to find an editor for my book - haven't decided to self publish or find a traditional publisher - haven't had anyone read what I have yet
Background: 7 years entrepreneurial experience with business importing and distributing/wholesaling a branded product (niche industry, failed to scale, succeed in learning) - company strategy and branding/marketing strengths - avid focus in self-development
Super great and affordable graphic artist, website developer, and book keeper on my team.
List of 35 emails that may be interested in philosophy+entrepreneurship topic (they don't know about the book yet).
Instagram with 1000 followers interested in the topic.
No real known followers on blog.
Never spoken on camera or uploaded a video. I'm a first time author and doubt my book sales will be sufficient to cover expenses.
However, I know my experience can be valuable to another, and I'm aware of the following products/services I can offer, I'm just currently having mental blockages on getting started with anything (undergoing family health problems).
Consulting, Some sort of Course, Webinar, Graphic/web design/social media advertising to businesses (digital marketing outsourced to VA team I have)
Thanks for your attention & feedback!
