Can someone steer me to a cpa network that offers good paying zip/email submits? I'd like to give this a try.

There's plenty of information about this already, check out the CPA section. Anyways good networks are ROI Rocket, Copeac, Millnic, Neverblue, Maxbounty, Azoogle, Rocket Profit and probably a few more I left out.

depends on what and how your promoting.

the largest selection of one field offers ive ever seen are at CPA Empire and Neverblue

It really depends on the niche and the offer. It seems that tech offers do well with young people generally speaking, but of course the more you can match the offer to the niche, the better you'll do.
