Looking for eBay listing and store SEO

Idea is simple - need to make more sales.

My store has only one type of cell phone accessories. Competition it tough, so I'm looking to apply onsite and offsite SEO to my listings and store. Will it work?

I have limited knowledge in SEO and will need to hire someone. Any recommendations for onsite and/or offsite?

Is it different from SEO for websites? I've asked a few SEO people around and none had experience with eBay.

If you have eBay shop, it is easier to perform seo on items, otherwise it's not possible to do this since the item number is changed every time you list on ebay.

Do you mean that its better to do onsite seo on items, rather than offsite, since links might change when you relist or list a new item?
I have buy it now listings with multiple quantity and most of them have not changed for a while. That's why I was thinking that offsite seo for those items might work. But I agree that onsite should help as well. Or should I just focus on offsite for store front, since this address is permanent?

Yes, for BIN GTC item, offsite seo works.

Yes. You may want to build a blog out of your products -- say review them. Then point your readers to your online shop.

Good idea! Besides reviews it can have some instructions in form of text or video. Where would you recommend to have a blog? Will it be sites like "blogger"?
