Trying to see which companies are being used most these days. Who do you guys use these days? Any recommendations?

I use Netelligent.ca - they're hosted in Canada, which is perfect since the website I run normally get hit by DMCAs every other day. Decent prices, fast customer service.

If you want a bulletproof server that will NEVER EVER get taken down, look at Ecatel http://ecatel.net/

No matter what you do or host on your server, they will just turn a blind eye. I'm pretty sure they won't even bother to ask you for any verification info!

Leaseweb don't really seem to care about DMCA's either, so take a look at them: http://leaseweb.com/

Server.lu do some offshore servers in Luxemborg and as well don't care about DMCA's http://www.server.lu/

Some other providers to look at:
http://www.worldstream.nl/
https://hosthatch.com/
http://privatelayer.com/
http://swiftway.net/

i recommend turnkey..

works perfectly on my side..

Hi Matsta,

Thanks for the great info mate.
Would you happen to know about non-US providers of URL names that are genuinely
confidential?
Or am i better to get an overseas corporation for confidentiality?
Thanks :)

Really like Netelligent so far. Can anyone confirm that they don't call to verify the order?

Hi Keith,

I'm not too sure what your question is. Do you want a provider that provides US Servers but is based overseas? If so, I would go with Leaseweb (servers in Virginia and they based in Germany) or OVH (servers in Canada and based in France).

In terms of confidentiality, Ecatel will never give your details out. You could even sign up with fake details and they would still give you a server in a blink of a eye, Server.lu would probably be the same deal as well.

Is it worth getting a shell company just for a dedicated server?
