Now most tools are paid. I use GSC, Keywords Everywhere, and sometimes LowFruits or SERanking. Works well without breaking the bank.

Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, KeywordTool.io, AnswerThePublic, Moz. Most have limited free use now.
 
Thanks for the interesting topic, I wanted to create it myself. I use Ahrefs as I think it is the most convenient tool, but it is quite expensive. If there is any alternative, it is interesting, but I doubt that anything can be more effective.:(:(
 
You can use Semrush and Ahrefs. If your budget is low then try group by tool...
 
You're right, earlier some tools offered 1,000 keywords for free, but most are now paid. These days, I use Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Keyword Planner for keyword research. They provide accurate data, search volume, and keyword difficulty insights.
 
Ahrefs does have a free tool for that, but it’s not very detailed. Still, sticking with well-known tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush is a safe choice — at least you know exactly what they offer. Other reputable tools are probably solid as well, but we haven’t personally used them.

Yeah, it used to be. Now I mostly use Ahrefs and Ubersuggest—both solid, but not free. For free options, Google Keyword Planner still works.
