Looking for Business Advice

Hey BHW, I'm a little lost and after a bit of advice.

About 10 years ago I made a killing in IM (£xxx,xxx.xx). I bought a house, got comfortable and convinced myself that I will start something new and even bigger next year. Next year never came.

I'm now 30 and long story short, I realized that I had no reason or desire to make anything new so I just didn't. I'm getting myself back to university next year to do an MBA which will hopefully get me back on my feet as i'm a bit rusty and i'm in a position where I would love to get back into a business of my own.

I have a passive monthly income of about £1,000 from when I invested in a friends business ideas way back and i'm looking to do something new. The question is: When you can do absolutely anything, what do you do?

I realized over the years that I don't have a passion for anything so that's ruled out. I don't mind what I get involved with, but it needs to be internet based and big long term. I tried affiliation, but it's one of those things that can just never work out for no good reason. Something sustainable and not affected by millions of people being involved in it, like real estate or trading?

What would you do if you were me?

Is there not something you could stem off your hobbies? Sometimes you can find ideas by really into looking into an industry around what you do. Whether it's a maintenance hobby like the Gym or leisurely like riding motorcycles, surfing etc.

You could look into getting into trading the financial markets (Forex, stocks) if you can educate yourself and get through the minefield of fake educators, brokers, instagram traders and crappy algorithms that everyone is trying to sell you there is significant money to be made for the successful trader because of leverage. You may enjoy being involved in the markets, who knows.

I don't think I am in a position of giving you advice, As you have much more experience than me,.
Lets comes to your real question.
What can I do, If I can do anything?

I will select a physical product, Sell it on Amazon, Alibaba and on my website using PPC ads.
Try to make ROI positive and in the long term try to make it a brand.

I read a story where an entrepreneur took a umbrella start printing it and sell it on ecommerce website.
Now they have their own brand of custom umbrellas.
