Looking for Backlinks and other traffic generation services

We have a new game development forum and I need effective services to increase traffic. I was thinking:

Forum posting - seo is ok but actually need someone to post threads on game development topic.
Social bookmarking
Facebook likes for our company page

Can anyone else suggest any other services that generate good traffic? Well to pay for good services. Just dont want any services but good stuff that I can see results from.
