Looking for an SEO to work on a percentage

Hi,

I am looking for an SEO expert or experts that are willing to work on a percentage of the sales made through a website.

The site is .co.uk. It will be an advantage if you're native but it's not crucial. However, a very good command of English is required. I will probably ask for some example of your writing.

Please PM me for details, and it will be appreciated if you provide a portfolio of some kind. I also need to hear a sentence or two why you want to work on a percentage. This is a long-term project.

A percentage? Okay let's think intelligently about this scenario..... Let's pretend I agree to your terms and I work for you. I invest 40 hours of my time and manage to rank you on the first page of Google for all your "money keywords" right? Technically I've done my job, I've ranked you on top, so at this point there isn't anything more I can do. At this point it's all up to you and the strength of your product and / or service. If you're offer is something that people actually want to buy then yes sales will be generated, but lets say you are selling a product or service no one wants, then what happens to me and all the hard work and effort I've put in to get your website ranked??? Because I've agreed on a percentage of the sales you make, I've essentially wasted my time! I've entered agreements like this in the past where I do SEO on a commission bases and in ever instance it's been a loss for me. I've ranked businesses on the first page, and because they sell products and services that no one wants, very little sales are generated and I've ended up losing, so with that being said, if I was to seriously consider a commission arrangement, you will need to show the numbers and prove that you're generating sales. In fact I would need you to prove that you have a strong product by running Google Adwords. If your product / service is really that good then it shouldn't be a problem for you to invest $500 or $1000 dollars on google Adwords where you can instantly get on the first page and show the profits. Once I see that then I would consider your offer. And any SEO considering an arrangement on a commission bases, I would suggest you request the same as what I'm doing here.... ;)

To add in. 40hrs or so of SEO work shouldn't really be a FREE service. Even your product generate tons amount of revenue that should be an added bonus to the person doing a good job for your business. Those kind of incentive is a win-win situation for the both of you because you are motivating that person to exert more effort in producing quality work hence will turn into good profit. You earn more $$$$ and you get to keep your SEO person in a long term for other projects.

As what other successful business owners say, "You invest on people" because those people can make you tons of money by producing a quality work. You just really have to carefully choose the people whom you'll invest into. Good luck!
