Anyone know of an application or script that can scrape articles from an article directory like ezine articles dot com and save them to individual .txt files (preferable without the html code)?

There's that program Adsense Cash Machine, you could use it to download each article to a file. Copies of it are floating around here somewhere.

Used that program myself! VERY GOOD!! ads your adsense id in there as well!
