Looks like prices for APIs range up to $15.

I have another project using SmartProxy but I've caught them overbilling so I'm hesitant to build with them again, but I see most competitors are still more than $1.25 per 1k requests.

Is SmartProxy/Decodo the cheapest JS-rending scraping API?

They're the cheapest I have found. I prefer to use firecrawl though

Replacing SmartProxy/Decodo with options like Oxylabs and Bright Data seems like a comparable choice with suitable pricing.

You might want to check ScrapeStack or Zyte. They’re cheaper in some cases, especially with basic scraping. For JS rendering, try ScraperAPI or Puppeteer with your own proxies — more setup, but way cheaper long term.

Yeah, I had the same issue with SmartProxy try ScrapeUp or Serply, cheaper, decent for small projects.
