I found this forum to be the most related to my question.
I'm looking into starting a local niche based "etsy clone" based on Wordpress. I have read about Dokan, Social marketplace, WC vendors etc.
All very good systems, but it seems like everyone are based on getting a small percentage out of the vendors sales amount. I prefer not to be bothered with that work, and would like it to be only subscription based. Vendors pay a fixed amount every month to be able to run their shop in our system.
Another thing I would like to avoid, is processing payments on behalf of the vendor. I want such things to be handled directly between the vendor and end customer. Same with shipping.
In all MV systems I have checked so far, I can't see any option to exclude handling payments and shipping.
Anyone with experience with such systems?
