I want to e-blast some site owners to build links.

Am I able to remove the footer that most softwares add? Any software suggestions? Or should I BCC? Tips for avoiding spam?

Just looking for general e-blast tips

(Please let me know if there is isnt the right thread for this query, i am new to BHW)

Simply go with Atomic sender. And to avoid spam you need to have a good list and optimized email content.

Good luck.

What do you consider a blast? How many e-mails? Where did you get the addresses? Did you unbounce them or any thing?

By blast I mean an email to several hundred people at once pitching my article for link building, I have a list of email addresses that I purchased from a data miner, I am not sure what unbounce means. thanks

So, that is scraped and you must clean them as suggested above which will reduce the bounce / spam reporting.

Build a quality list and use quality content, it helps if the emails are relevant to the subject or product that you used to get them to opt-in with.

I think GSA has a tool that can send these messages to websites with contact forms. However i heard the inbox rate is very poor.
