**Hey everyone,**

I’ve been a long-time lurker but finally decided to make an account and get involved. I'm mostly interested in mobile proxies and looking to start a small proxy farm.

My main concern is finding customers. I’ll be creating the proxies myself — specifically Romanian mobile proxies — but I’m not sure if there’s real demand for them. I’ve tested the waters before with services that offer both the software and a marketplace to sell proxies. I set up 3 proxies for about 2 months, priced them similarly to other providers (I didn’t want to undercut anyone), but unfortunately, I didn’t get any sales.

If anyone here has experience in this space, I’d really appreciate any insights or advice. Is this something worth pursuing, or is the market already too saturated?

Thanks for reading — and apologies if I’ve posted this in the wrong section or broken any rules.

The issue is that it's romanian proxies. Is there any demand for those? Maybe you should be targeting romanian buyers?

I'd love to be able to offer other countries as well, but I'm limited to 1 location atm, and I dint have the knowledge to set up anything else, plus it would drive bigger costs( I guess) I don't think buying sims with data from other countries will qualify the proxies as different, since the devices will be in the same spot, but maybe I'm mistaken

Most buyers care about stability, rotation and speed. You’ll probably need to focus on building a niche (like targeting a specific GEO or platform use case) rather than just offering mobile proxies.

Yeah there’s demand, but buyers mainly look for trust and reliability. If you build some reputation first and target the right niche, Romanian mobile proxies can definitely sell.

romanian mobile proxies can sell, but the market is competitive and buyers often look for volume, reliability, and low price. start small, focus on quality, and reach out in niche forums or communities where proxies are used. building trust and proving uptime usually drives sales more than just listing them.

I'm still researching tbh, and got some irl issues atm, that keep me quite busy, but I appreciate the offer

Why not set up a remote farm for USA ones? Seems like there'd be more demand for that.

Demand exists, but it’s competitive. Success usually comes from niche targeting (e.g., TikTok/IG automation users) and building trust. Without marketing or reputation, sales are tough.

Thanks for the input,
Yeah I looked around, and probably niche targeting would be best, I'll probably set up 5/10 phones , just to test out the waters

That's a great question, and it’s smart to validate the market before fully investing. The market for mobile proxies is definitely competitive, but demand for specific locations like Romania still exists. You might not have gotten sales because a few proxies isn't enough to compete with established providers who offer larger pools. Building trust and a reputation for quality and uptime is crucial. Try showcasing the unique features of your proxies and target specific niches that need them, like social media automation or specific data scraping tasks.
You're either really patient and good at writing, or u used ai to format Your response, if I'm wrong I apologise, it just has an ai feeling, that's all

Good question there is demand for Romanian mobile proxies, but you’ll need reliability, good speed & uptime to compete. Niche down + prove trust before scaling.
