Looking for advice hosting (Wordpress) - Currently with Siteground; options?

My TTFB is slow as fuck with siteground, i added cloudflares new APO and it dropped to 100ms, showing me some issues with siteground atm.
I wanted to migrate to WPX (currently on GoGeek with siteground.

However the costs will be 1200 CAD for the first two years, vs 600+170 at siteground.


I wanted some advice, who is a great host like siteground with support; speed and emails?

WPX gets my vote after doing some searching on the forum here about independent hosting.
 
I just looked at WPX and Siteground GoGeek is $45 for 40gb which is much cheaper.
 
Namecheap managed worpress is your best deal and performace is good too
 
I would choose WPX or Cloudways. I am using both siteground and WPX. I prepaid 3 years for siteground which made it super affordable.
 
I had namecheap, its garbage.

How do you like WPX / Siteground differences?
Given that I need to pay $5 USD / MO extra for APO to have siteground load fast it makes a better host an option.
WPX seems like its slightly more expensive; well alot more expensive and i get less so this is a concern besides speed.

Hows the downtime on WPX? Support? Sitetools?
I looked at cloudways, while it seems great i'll want to grow into that in a year or two when i have 30+ clients.


WPX seems like a decent deal, but their expensive and the site 15 cap isnt that great.
I heard downtime issues in another thread and really need some feedback before migrating.
 
I would suggest you get a VPS - better speed, better performance. Every service has some bad reviews as the happy customers seldom leave any review at all and the angry ones never forget to write it. WPX is good but I think it's kind of expensive. How much traffic does your site(s) get? How many sites do you want to host on a single account?
 
Low traffic professional businesses.

Might stay with Siteground for now; even though WPX seems ideal, i have two days left to decide if im going to migrate away and get a refund.

Atleast 15 low traffic websites.
 
What kind of plan did you get for the price?

Ive heard complaints with downtime, so trying to figure it out atm.
 
WPX, Siteground (+APO) or Cloudways are my options.
Hard to decide.
 
You can also have a look at Wordpress recommended providers. They do publish such list of recommendations.
 
Nothing can compare high end VPS / Dedicated server with premium connectivity.

Jumping on shared/overloaded machine with a bonus of crap connectivity will lead to... just that. Regardless of the premium price tags :)
