I completely agree with the sentiment. The transition from the old .NET Framework to the modern, cross-platform .NET (Core) has been a game-changer. The performance benchmarks for ASP.NET Core are consistently top-tier, often beating Node.js and Go in many scenarios.

I think the reason it's not "everywhere" yet is mostly due to the old perception that .NET is only for enterprise Windows applications. Many new developers gravitate towards the JavaScript ecosystem or Python because of the lower barrier to entry, but once you experience the sheer power of C# and the tooling (Visual Studio/JetBrains Rider), it's hard to go back.

With .NET 8/9 focusing so much on cloud-native and AI integration, I really believe we’ll see a significant shift in adoption soon. It’s definitely state-of-the-art right now.
