I am still in need of a writer for my Marijuana reform website, not only will you be writing and helping a good cause, we will pay $45 weekly, for 12, 400 word articles a week. We would like 1 or 2 articles atleast a day.

We are a non profit orgaization, and only take donations for an actual cause.

So go ahead and shoot me a PM with your portfolio. And price is not really negotiable, sorry.

Please be fluent in English, and please make sure all your work is copyscape passed, and will be checked if rewritten, witch is also not aloud!
Please only apply if you hand write the articles and are able to research the topic. Sloppy articles, and bad English will be terminated, with a warning first.

    We pay using paypal.

    Thanks again,

    Soloman

Sure, but you might not be able to get constant sales with fiverr, with me youll constantly have cash flow, and pay can increase in time, were a small non profit organization, what do you expect.

I don't intend to hijack your thread, but I also want to hire a writer for my website. I just wanted to know that can I make 15 posts in a day in order to start a thread and send PMs. I am bit confused. Sorry for barging into your thread.

Actually it's not a bad offer because, If you check it properly it comes to appr. .93 cent/word.
In Fiverr you can find gigs with even 2 X 400 word articles per $5 (which is .625 cent/word). Here in BHW most common rate is 1 cent/word. So OP quoting almost equal to average common rate of BHW.

You'd make more writing $45 worth a week on a site like Textbroker. :\

I never understood why so many people think they're going to profit off of insanely cheap content. Every once in a while you might find a writer who has no idea what they're worth and you'll able to crack the whip for a while but eventually they're going to figure out what you're doing.

"long term" or "bulk" is no excuse to pay at such a horrendously low rate. This is BHW after all... not... well.. you know.

There's a forum with a name that I can't mention that begins with D (you get an infraction for mentioning the name). You'd probably find plenty of foreign writers there.

The thing that kills me is, people expect you to write perfect grammar and well researched articles at this price too. For $5, people are lucky they're even being done on a coherent level. The majority of the people who will contact you might have perfect English in your conversations, but when you start receiving work from them, it'll look like this:

"I can has teach you online money makes today. You get of blog to make moneys with AdSense advertising of content posting."

I'm serious... I used to hire cheap content writers a year ago. I would get these dicks who spoke perfect English or agents who spoke for them, then the work they would deliver was horrendous. Also, at that $1 rate, you're going to get a LOT of Copy Pasted content such as crap from Wikipedia/etc. Take a country like India, where the annual income may seem low but their cost of living or doing anything is pretty damn high compared to what the average person makes there.

Woah woah woah, back up! That's like saying "Here on (forum that starts with D) the common price is .50c."

Maybe that's the common price of the writers you find, but you can't speak for the entire forum when talking about what writers usually charge. Maybe that's what THEY charge but it's certainly not what some of us will charge. Some of us would rather not have to rush through every article we write and produce crap just to make it worth our time.

The proposed pay is abysmal. You don't have much leeway in asking for quality/unique if you're basically paying nothing. Any native English speaker who can give you what you're asking for can make $45 a DAY at Textbroker. So give us a break, please. And you being a non-profit is completely irrelevent. A non-profit without an operational budget and funds isn't an actual organization.

You're like one of those guys who goes onto Elance looking for "rock-star designers" who will work for $3 an hour.

Personally I wouldn't work with the OP, I sent him a few articles, haven't heard from him since and without payment.

    Cheers.

This is the risk writers run into when writing for cheap ass people. The majority of them are scumbags and will screw people out of a measly $45.

If you're writing for a client who has a fixed amount of words to be done, NEVER EVER do any of the work without at least a 50% upfront payment plan. At least that way, you'll get 50% of your earnings and they have a problem with this, they can find someone else.

Personally, I charge 100% of the fee upfront unless it's either 1) a bulk order, 2) a highly respected member of the community with a reputation or 3) a fluctuating word count (300-1000 words per article).

Even with respected members you have to be careful because even they can show their ugly heads at one point or another.

Now start a blog with the content you've done for him before he has a chance to get it indexed and ranked and use it for yourself. If in fact this post is true and the OP flaked out on a measly $45.. you're a dickhead and you'll get what's coming to you eventually for screwing over low budget writers.

If I were you I would open a shit list thread on him, it might not mean much but maybe it will get his attention. After all his post wanted articles everyday, so that means he is around his email checking it everyday in order to receive those articles. For $45 I cannot believe someone would scam but I have seen stranger things.

Thanks for the comments guys, but I don't ever work for this cheap, I actually just enjoy writing on the topic so did it out of good faith, I knew due to his budget payment may be flaky so only sent 3 articles.

We'll see if he ever responds, but it's no biggie to me, but for writers who really need the work and money I'd rather them be aware of the situation!

    Cheers guys.

It's discouraging when you run into so many tire kickers as an article writer. An extra $45 (even at $1/word) would have been some nice extra money.
