Looking for a Wordpress Plugin for 'Read More' Button

I am looking for a plugin that will allow me to add a "read more" button to display hidden text.

The key is that I need to be able to include multiple read mores in a post.

For example, if I had 100 images to display, I want to show 20 images and at the end of those have a "Read more" button that then displays 20 more. And then another read more button that shows 20 more, and so on.

Do you know a plugin that does that?

Nope, not quite what I want. I want it to be a read more button that hides text. Example: https://www.homestratosphere.com/photos/kitchen/

Search the page for "more" and you'll see the more button and how it functions. That's what I'm looking for

Maybe something with an Ajax function? My theme has an Ajax function where you have to click more to load the extra posts on the homepage.

Would something like this help?

shortcodes ultimate has a function called reveal or expand. Try that maybe.

I think what you're looking for is an ajax plugin, but don't know if any that cut off text/content from a single post and allow you to load that only.

Are you looking to prevent images from all being loaded at once? There are lazyload plugins which do that automatically
