Looking for a VPS from a reputable company/host

As title says, also price is an issue here, trying to stay under 40 a month with
cpanel. Should i get linux or windows vps? plesk? cpanel? i like cpanel a lot. Whats xen? and can i just buy a few more ips for the server and use them as proxies?

Im a noob when it comes to hosting and server technical aspects. So if there are things i should know or should look into in a server dont hesitate to point me in the right direction.

My hosting plan just shit the bed, and my account was suspended due to cpu overload and server instability.

A hosting/vps information sticky is definitely needed.

exactly what kind of software are you running to be causing cpu overloads though?

unfortunately if you're using cpu intensive software, almost any host out there is going to shit-can your account

although they don't typically have any idea what their doing (the big hosting companies)
so stick to smaller outfits, with personalized service, like the guy I'm referring you to
they are a little more lax when it comes to usage & more apt to help you out

If i had one suggestion (although dan will hook you up) is you should go up to the $100-175 range & go dedicated, then you have no more worries & you get more ip's

Also I have connections at almost all of the host's in the world that allow adult content. And connects to the hosts that value your privacy. Don't think for a minute that some of these so called vpn/proxy services aren't looking at your raw packets to steal your ideas/methods & data.

I have extensive knowledge in VPN setup's, IP relays (of all kinds) i.e. proxies, http/https/socks4/socks5 & the scripts/programs to run them (on both linux & windows platforms).

(some countries are more expensive & have access to less ip's, b/w costs vary on geo)

US (almost any major city), Germany, Australia, England, Hong Kong/China, Amsterdam/Netherlands, Montreal/QC, Mexico....Just to name a few.

I will only give out information via PM. I find the prices you guys are being charged for these private vpn/proxy services to be absolutely ridiculous & would love to help everyone get something a bit cheaper/more reliable.

well i downloaded and installed a plugin i found here on bhw over from the huge autoblog plugin pack page, and started messing with some of the plugins on one of my sites, which i believe is the cuprit. I asked them to just delete the plugins and just delete a folder, to see if the server could stabilize but they just insisted that they couldnt unsuspend the account, i offered to upgrade, no vps available.

I dunno, i dont run ridiculous amounts of traffic, thats why im real pissed, that im getting canned for nothing. Something as easy as deleting a folder, im sure could easily have been done. Now i get to download my content pack up and head elsewhere. fml

You could use a Windows VPS with an open-source website panel and it would run fine
