Looking for a thread about using ahrefs to increase site traffic

I have searched the forum and could not find this thread.

The OP had a picture of The Notorious BIG.

It was about identifying pages you currently rank, checking the keywords bringing traffic, and updating the page with these keywords.

He mentioned you could also use GSC.

No....No....No....Notorious. Yes it was me and I think the above-linked thread is the one.

You can also do some other cool stuff if you have ahrefs; like for example you can look at those same pages on your site that are currently training, then look at any competitors ranking below you; you know that you can beat those sites now in the serps. Then, look at those competitors and find all of the other pages on their sites that are ranking + bringing in traffic, then build your own content to compete with those pages.

One of the most powerful Ahrefs tricks that I discovered on this forum is to use it to find Quora questions.

Here's how it works.

You find Quora questions that are ranking #1 to #3 for your niche’s target keywords; use Ahrefs to do this.

Once you've identified those questions, post an answer that blows everybody away.

This way, when people search for questions related to your niche and they find that Quora question, there's a good chance these searchers will see your answer.

Here's a pro-tip, though: don’t get greedy.

Don’t just drop a link.

Make sure you set it up correctly; make sure you position it as a source.

You have to downplay it.

Maybe you include other links to throw off the sensors?

While Quora is less sensitive now to link spamming, it still deletes answers, so a little bit of caution can go a long way.
