Looking for a Text file Splitter

I need a text file splitter i purchased a joiner so that has been taken care of. The text file splitter type im looking for should be decent and the one i currently use turns the txt file into blahblah.txt.001 i don't want it this way i want it to be blahblah.txt blahblah01.txt and so forth it's a pain having to rename 20 or so text files if anyone has a decent splitter they can recommend me i would really apperciate it thank you!

If your existing textsplitter software is OK save for that one problem why not keep it and just add an autoname utility to do the job. Normally they're going to be more powerful than a renamer grafted onto a splitter.

"Antrenamer" is a fairly good program and is a portable app so it can run clean off a usb drive.

Thank you all especially Kidshallen...All i needed to do was split it with jsplit then rename it with antrenamer!
