Looking for a specific live chat capability

Hey guys. I'm looking to create a website on which people can speak to coaches.

I want them to be able to come on the site, select the coach they want to chat with and it'll open up a chat page to speak with that coach.

I've been trying some Googling but it's mainly just giving me the standard live chat plugins where it's just an agent speaking.

I want it to feel more like a social network chat, rather than a zendesk support chat.

Let me know if you guys have any recommendations. Cheers.

Rather than a social network chat, you'll need a marketplace chat with vendors (coaches) and buyers (students).

A social network usually has only one type of account (a user profile). Whereas you need two different types.

So look for any marketplace-oriented CMS.

Yes this is a good solution. You see those CMS that adult websites use? Maybe you can use something like that.

I know what they're using but it's really meant for adult sites. You'll have to heavily modify it to be on your liking.

Well building on ur own is going to cost u way more. If this is a core function in ur business, it is definitely worth investing.

There are a few solutions:

- Develop your own CMS
- Use WordPress and a marketplace plugin/theme - there are countless themes on themeforest for marketplace websites.
- Marketplace CMS: Sellacious (Open source as I remember), Sharetribe, Cocorico, Mayocat, Beyourmarket
