Looking for a service like google voice

Looking for a service like google voice. I don't want google voice because I don't like my data mined and stolen by google. For the same reason I don't want textnow.

My requirements are so simple, it's unbelievable that I have not found this despite hours of research. I need a number that allows me to:
make calls from my browser
receive calls from my browser
send text and picture messages from my browser
receive text and picture messages from my browser
look at my missed calls
listen to voicemails

every company that I have tried claims to have these features, but then they dont, or it requires hours of complicated setting up by the user? one company allows sms but not mms? why? one company allows mms but then if you enable mms you cannot receive voicemails on that same number? wtf? how come I can't find something so simple like google voice?

Twilio maybe. have you looked into pushbullet? i've used it for long time to manage calls and texts on my pc from my phone. windows has some kind of phone pairing thing too. as does IOS/macOS.
search pushbullet on alternativeto.io and you'll likely get more. probably some FOSS/self-hosted by now if security is a concern.

twilio suspended my account and refunded me. No idea what about me is appearing suspicious to them. I am using real ip, real phone number, real credit card.
pushbullet is something that syncs your phone with your computer. The whole point of this is I don't want to have a phone. I want to do everything in browser.

i google "buy virtual phone for call and sms" and see ton of results doing what it looks like you want. eg. blacktel.io .what's wrong with those?

maybe textnow is better .
