We are located in Orange County, CA Here is the description: Purpose of Position: The Digital Coordinator, Search will support ongoing efforts to increase keyword rankings for The Word & Brown Companies (WBC) websites, which in turn will support lead generation efforts for the entire company. Essential Functions: Assists with all search engine optimization (SEO) strategies, plans and execution. Generates ongoing external backlinks to different WBC websites. Compiles, tracks, and monitors contact lists of opportunities to secure backlinks that will support our overall traffic generation efforts. Assists will all search engine marketing (SEM) efforts including online advertising. Monitors digital best practices and marketing trends; educates the department on emerging search and online marketing tactics. Reports on all SEO efforts as directed by the Vice President Digital Marketing. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: A minimum of 1 year SEM and online marketing experience. Understanding of on-page technical factors that may affect search engine rankings. Experience with tools that allow tracking of SEO efforts as well as research tools such as Moz, Google and Bing Webmaster Tools; SEMRush, AHREFs, Majestic SEO, SERPbook etc. Experience working with designers and copywriters to address quality assurance issues that may arise in different campaigns (strongly preferred but not required). Understanding of integrated marketing disciplines: advertising, direct response, sales promotion, public relations, digital and event marketing. Strong project management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
