I'm a web developer my weapons of choice are: Ruby on Rails, Ajax, Jquery and if needed Backbone.js.
I've recently built //url bypass: triple w . leapfm . calm // over the weekend and it already has a growing userbase.
The idea was mentioned to me by a music industry friend, and it's basically a platform for artists to submit music and get heard.
Artists can submit music and if the songs are good users will leap/vote them to the top of the charts. A&R's can use this to find new talent.
Now I'd like to partner with another experienced web developer (preferably skilled in the same areas as me), or SEO specialist to help scale this web app up. Ad Revenue/income will be divided equally so everyone is happy.
Alternatively, if you have a better idea I can create it from scratch and we can work on that together.
