I don't think you'll be able to do this from .AVI though it might be possible in .SWF

that would be in possible unless you can hide a "virus" behind the file, atleast to my knowledge

Actually I made this thread because I myself downloaded a movie file in .AVI format and it redirecting me in a website after a few seconds playing.

if it is in a website than yes it can be coded (I can not do it) but if it were a file on your computer than it could not, sorry I was confused by the question.
