I would be in need of a program that would scan a webpage, example: vvv.domain.bom/forum/ & fish out the pages with highest PR. Does such a tool exist? Please help, thanks!:)

yeah scrapebox should help you with it, scrape the pages, then check PR for all of them, export it and keep the highest ones

.. or if you don't want to buy Scrapebox then you can just download SEOQuake for Firefox.

Then just do a google search with "site:theurlofyoursite" and have it show results based on PR.

Thanks. I've been using the SEOQuake method, but when you have thousands of pages it just takes too long. I know scrapebox has a somewhat cult status but never could afford it.

Yeah, with 1000s of pages speed would become an issue indeed. In this case I would just go ahead and buy Scrapebox. It's well worth the $57 that they're charging.

Alright now got it. I didn't know you can get a discount so easily. Reasonably priced indeed.

However I see some flaws here. Like if I just insert:

site:vvv.domain.bom/forum/

...with no keywords and a bunch of proxies. First, looks like results are limited to a thousand. Second, I'm getting only a hundred harvested URL's. So why to use a search engine to harvest the links anyway, all the links are there on the web page. I simply want all the URL's under that page, wouldn't it be easier to just crawl the pages?

To me it looks like SB is more designed for harvesting pages with keywords. Or?

I found a very nice java based free tool for compiling a complete list of URLs of any website. It's called optispider, you can search for it. After the list is compiled I can import that to SB and check the PR. However there must be cheaper programs for doing a PR check, so based on this experience I would not recommend buying ScrapeBox for this simple task. It will be very useful for other things though :P

buy Scrapebox its help to you :)
