Looking for a local keyword research tool

I'm looking for a tool that will let me find search volume on batch of local keywords. So for example: I want to be able to find top dentist keywords in a state - I want to see what cities in New Jersey, for example, have volume for dentists (so "Newark dentists", etc).

Short of generating batches of keywords like "%CITY% dentist", or "dentist in %CITY%" and running them through AdWords keyword planner - this is more brute force. Is there a tool that lets you zero in on local search volume?
