IMO, the upfront model is not working unless you bridge them through Social Media(IG/Tiktok) if you only use OF then the second model works better

So you're asking what the lead funnel for OF is like? How it's structured? I know a little bit about that, since I occasionally work with someone who manages a few OF girls.
Have a "FREE" OF as well as a "PAID" OF. Push your social media traffic into the free OF first - - the free OF is just a way to get people signing up to the platform (if they don't have OF) or to have them subscribe to your feed (if they have an OF account).
For all the content you make, have 3 versions - the full version for your paid OF, a teaser for your free OF, and an SFW screenshot/teaser for social media.
Every day, schedule one post on your free OF that makes a CTA pushing people to your paid OF. Set it up like a Russell Brunson funnel, it'll work that way.

PS: please do consider doing something a little less reprehensible than OF. You've signed up on BHW, you'll find far more sustainable and less predatory ways to make money on threads here. Now I'm done moralizing. Now go check out Russell Brunson's book "Traffic Secrets" and set up a funnel for those simps.
