Well, its not for sure what type of information google is gathering about its users who are using their browsers. None the less if you are just as paranoid as me but still like to use chrome then you should really check out: http://www.comodo.com/home/browsers-toolbars/browser.php

Its called Comodo Dragon

Note: I am no way affiliated, nor am I working for this company. I found some users talking about them on another forum, tried it myself, and it works exactly like chrome without the bad. You can even install the the chrome plugins etc.. Its just like chrome but with 2x more security and of course, your information is not being sent to google.

Anyway, this is just for those who are looking for an alternative to G chrome.

Best Regards.

To be honest, its just as fast as chrome (a little bit faster if you ask me) since its not reporting any information back to anyone. The browser is based on Chromium and this is the same open source backbone used in G Chrome's browser.

Is it possible to sync whit gmail account..bookmarks/passwords etc?

Yeah I like it too. I tried it awhile back, the only downside is Roboform won't work with it which makes the whole password thing a nightmare.

Have you tried using lastpass? I have been using this since I have been using firefox. It works with all browsers and I think it should operate like Roboform since they basically do the same thing.

I was sold on the upgrade until this post, I can't live without my Roboform. Thanks!

Comodo makes a number of nice applications. Their free internet security / malware programs are very good at cleaning up the toughest of issues.

Edit: I have only just renewed Roboform, so no chance of switching for at least another 10 months :)

This is way too old. And not updating soon enough, not popular much, exploitable a bit, and though its a bit faster than chrome, I wouldn't recommend it as a default browser.

EDIT : Sorry, I'm confused with Camino... :D

I'll vouch for commodo dragon, I used it for a while, you might have some problems with extensions that usually work in Chrome however
