Looking for a good theme site, or suggestions. May tip $.

Looking for a really clean, simple theme for Wordpress. It will be an informational site, so I don't want a lot of fuss, and obviously ads will need to look good on it.

One theme I liked was this:

But after trying it I didn't like the lack of options, and I wasn't feeling the way the menu didn't drop down on hover over.

Willing to pay for the right theme, but I don't want to subscribe to a membership, just a one time fee. If you suggest a good site/theme and I find what I'm looking for, I'd be willing to tip you for your time.
