Looking for a good seo e-book or course..Any recommendations?

I been out of the SEO game for awhile and I know alot of changes have taken place, so I'm wondering are there any good uptodate seo e-books or courses out right now and what are they?

Not really want a "update" book but a combination of both, one that actually teaches seo

BHW has plenty of info. Just read through old and new threads. It would be kind of dumb to read a book on SEO anyway since things change daily.
 
Yup. BHW happens to be the best, constantly-updated source of information on SEO anywhere in the world. To start with, you can bookmark a few super folks here and follow what they say. You'll build your own book that way :)
 
you will get good lessons here on each and every seo, white hat or black hat detail here. Give it a try.
 
If you feel compelled to get an ebook, look up Bring The Fresh on Clickbank. I won't even give you an affiliate link. I know the guy who runs it. He's EPIC in SEO.
 
BHW is the obvious answer. It's constantly updating and people are always trying/testing new/old techniques.

I like to follow both Black Hat and White Hat techniques, just so I can have a full view of the market and make my own analysis of what I think will work best based on both inputs. SEOMoz and Matt Cutts (yes I know, but I find it's best to work with Google than against it) are always posting solid White Hat Content. Definitely worth keeping track of to stay up to date.

yep, the stickies have been REALLY helpful, i've been lurking to forum sites, and decided to finally register :)
 
You can try Smart SEO guide, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Secrets by Danny Dover, The Art of SEO: Mastering Search Engine Optimization (Theory in Practice) - by Rand Fishkin (search in google, I can't post links yet).
 
Look for "the last money report" its a report that tells you the top 10 WSO to read (released in last 2 yrs) that cover everything there is from 1) choosing niche --> 2) building links etc...

It also tells you how to read and combine information from each of those WSO to get a really good foundation on seo and link building.

If you value your time, its an awesome report... since lots of WSO tend to rehash the same thing.
 
If your noob in seo then you try for ebook but if you have knowlege about basic seo.. i would suggest instead of reading old ebooks try and Read so releated news because everything is changing very fast so u need be updated ;) with news

Outsmarting Google: SEO Secrets to Winning New Business by Evan Bailyn was one of the best SEO books I've read.
