looking for a dropshipping tool idea

So I'm a developer and I have always wanted to invest my skills on dropshipping or ecommerce in general, I'm looking to do it in a more automated data-driver way.

I'm thinking about making a small tool that would be useful for dropshippers then throw it on github and that would be my first step in this domain.

I've thought about making a scraping tool with a UI since I see many scraping requests here and on freelancing websites. should I go for it or is there something better to do?
