I'm looking to partner with someone who is creative and motivated. I don't have any online
entrepreneur friends, so I'm coming here for help.

It's a fairly easy project, it would be a side project, not a full time gig, but there is great potential.
It either does extremely well, six figures per year, or it absolutely sucks and doesn't work out. But
it doesn't take long to set up, and it won't cost a lot of hours or money. So we test it for a
month, it bombs, oh well. It works, cha ching.

I want a partner, rather than just hire someone because I want someone self motivated, someone
that I can get the best out of, and will also push me.

It's a viral marketing concept. Now you see 'viral' you think viral video, which is nearly impossible to
create, like winning the lottery. But it's not like that, but I need the creativity of that.

    Requirements:

    1. Motivated. I need you to want this to succeed, I need you to want to be successful.

    2. Creative. I need someone creative. Outside the box creative. You come up with ideas no one else
    would come up with.

    3. Experiened and successful. I'm sorry new guys, I can't risk giving someone brand new a chance. I
need someone that is somewhat experienced and successful, and know what they are doing. Because
the time requirements aren't huge, I hope to attract some really creative, and successful individuals
who can afford to give up a few hours here and there.

    4. Proper grammar, spelling, etc. You may need to send emails and communicate with companies, it
is embarrassing to sound like a 14 year old kid when contacting and communcating with businesses.

    5. Multimedia skills are a plus, video, photoshop etc.

    What I need.

Please send me a PM with some info about yourself, what you do, what you've been doing, any sites you
run/own (if you need to keep them private, you can just tell me you'd rather not say).

More importantly, some ideas or examples of why you are creative, why you're different, and why you think
outside the box. Being creative is the key here. I really need someone where we can throw ideas out together
and come up with an even greater finished product.

There's nothing like it out there, and I admit it's a little out there (I think a lot of BH stuff is though!) so I'm
hoping it works, but I can't promise anything. What seems like a good idea to me, could be really stupid to
the next person... but I'm usually pretty good with ideas! lol

    Thank you!

PS. I will not reply to everyone, but will to ones I'm most interested in, but I'll probably wait a few days before
I start replying and filtering out. Thanks so much for all interested. I know there are some great minds here
and I look forward to working with you.

....geez. On the one hand I totally get it, not taking people who are "new" makes sense because it protects your interests but on the other hand how does a "new" person in any field that requires working with others ever become experienced if people are constantly afraid to take chances on them?

I see it as any other risk/reward type situation. You risk alot working with newer people, but you might gain alot as well.

Anyway could you please define new for me?

I've been in IM for about 2 years but my primary focus was seo. Only recently have I started to branch out and try other things after multiple updates destroyed alot of my hard work. Does that mean i'm still considered new?

I consider myself to be too creative for my own good. i'm constantly coming up with twists and tweaks and spins on old ideas or off the wall new ideas.

It's to the point where I leave my laptop on at night with Microsoft word open so that if I wake up in the middle of the night with ideas(happens far more than I would like) I can instantly put them down.

I haven't even gotten the chance to test half the things I've come up with yet, mainly due to lack of income, and all of them could be goldmines or utter failures....who knows.

Talking to businesses is something I've done a bit in the recent past for offline marketing and I enjoy the sales aspect of it.

This isn't really me sending in an "application" because I would've sent a pm for that, although i am interested in whatever this is. No this is more a request for you to at least take new people into account.

Now i'm not talking about the newbie with the -14 rep and 10 posts all saying thank you or something similar with broken English, that would be dumb.

But there are countless creative and motivated individuals joining this site everyday that could help you make something great, the same people that in a year from now will be the new go to guys on this forum for quality information like azguru for example http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...have-learned-one-year-internet-marketing.html and you're alienating them already......just food for thought.

Anyway jon_xx_x I wish you much success on whatever it is you're doing, and I look forward to the success story you're going to post here.:)

What makes you think that someone that meets your requirements would want to work with you?

This may seem crazy, but if someone meets my requirements and wants to work with me, they'll message me. If someone who meets my requirements and does not want to work with me, they don't message me. Ooo, and because they want to make money, would be a guess.

I just came on for a second as I'm out the door to check messages, all I read was your first line. But good point, I invite people that are new, but please convince me you are creative.

    hehe

    Thanks.

Thanks all for the messages, I'll go through them again later today, and also read and replyto VirgilH's message.

Okay, fair points you made, and you did sell yourself nicely as well.
I meant more so new as in people who had no clue what they are doing. I don't have time to spoon feed people. I don't say that to be mean, I just mean, where I am right now, and for this specific project, I don't want to be taking extra time with little things, and I want to work with someone who's somewhat been successful, and knows what they are doing.

I will take newer people, like you, who can prove, or convince me they are creative. Really, the job doesn't have anything to do with SEO, so being 'new' isn't a big deal. I just don't want some 35 year man who's living in his parents basement, and hasn't worked in five years, messaging me, trying to partner up. Know what I mean?

And if it comes down to it, and I have
A: creative guy, been working online for three years and pretty successful vs
B: creative guy, new, but willing to learn

I'm leaning towards the guy that has already been successful. Sure, maybe it's not fair, but put yourself in my shoes, business is business.
Now if person B PMed me, and told went on about how creative they are, gave examples, etc, and blew me out of the water, than they'd probably win me over.

And finally, yes, I want someone with off the wall ideas, as this is somewhat an off the wall idea. But that being said, there are retarded off the wall ideas, and there are good off the wall ideas. I mean a person will obviously have both one time or another, but I want someone who obviously has more good than bad ones.
PS The few "I"s you didn't capitalized, made me cringe lol.

Thanks for all the messages. It's probably going to take me a couple hours to read, reply, ask questions to the messages, and I'm going to do it when I have a spare time. I will probably do it later in the week. It's actually going to be a lot harder than I thought, as pretty much every person who messaged me has great skills, and would more than likely be a fit. I might even take on two people.
