Hi,
I'm looking for a creative web designer for a long term part-time job.
I'm a web developer myself and I need someone for various projects to take care of the graphical side and the look and feel of the sites. Projects varies from simple HTML template based sites, to WordPress sites and PHP based forums. Whitehat only. Your work would be mainly boosting the look and feel of existing sites, design graphics, logos, banners, and so on. I'm NOT looking for someone to build websites from scratch.
You would work for me and get paid directly by different (European) clients. I'm very busy with my work so you need to be able to work mainly by yourself with the given requirements. Communication mainly via EMAIL, no calls, no chat unless really required. I'm usually online 16h a day and reply to emails quickly.
Schedules are flexible and you can work at any day and hour you want. Only thing that is expected that when you take a new task/project you give rough estimate about the timeline and you try to keep it. Do not disappear somewhere in the middle of the project and give excuses about your sick aunt. Just be honest and let me know if something else comes.
You do NOT get direct access to the files and servers instead you take a local copy of HTML source of the pages and CSS files and work with those. You will send the original and modified files to me and I will put changes live.
At the moment I have some small fixed payment projects, but mainly payments would be based on per hour in range of $10-$20 depending on your skills. First hour based project has around 100h hours budget for the first month and 20-30 hours monthly budget after that for long term.
Requirements:
- Able to make creative graphical designs, update website look and feel, banners, logos
- Only individuals, no companies
- Creative minded person. Design oriented rather than technical minded
- No up-front payments, payments on delivery only. Even daily payments can be arranged at the begin to build up the trust if needed.
- Self oriented, able to work with minimum guidance
- Any country and timezone is fine
What you should do:
- Send me PM with short story about your background and some samples of your recent work.
- Tell me how you would make a 900px table with 10 columns responsive while some of the columns has dynamic text length. This is one of the main challenges on the first big project you would have. I'm not asking how you would do it technically instead how you would do it conceptually.
Your first task would be to demonstrate your creativity on small fixed size project and if that goes well we move to hourly based project.
Do NOT ask my Skype, PM only and give me time to get back to you during the week.
