Lookin for a way...

Hey Guys. I need some help with this... I mean, I am not that stupid but my Ideas are over.

The Point is that I own a Game-Forum with 1,500 Unique Users Traffic a Day. Well, many stay for hours, others only for seconds.

Most dont like the Idea to click on a banner nor to see a Layer or whatever.

I know the game i offer means a lot to them, and im sure most would do stupid things to play, but i dont wanna mess up the publicrelations.

Nowerdays I hit Pagerank 2 and i am sure there must be a way for german traffic to convert into money, but CPA almost offers me viruses or paid stuff for the people which interact to it, that would scam those whom help me...

Hope you understand my mess... im stucked here.

May i just have to understand that a german game forum is not a place to make money, well there are more blogs out there so it would not hurt to much.

I think they would click without a problem if you let them know that to be able to keep the site up you need some income from the ads.

cant you just chuck in a few adsense ads for now? I wouldn't mind seeing ads

All in all i had an click rate of 0.009% so 1 of 11k or some did a click... was really not worth it...

Send them emails to offers related to the game or maybe some good deal offers.

You don't have to worry about ruining public relations. Remember, you are running a business here. It takes your time to manage the site. You have to train them to getting used to be bumped with offers. If they don't like that, they are not worth it. Unless of course they're adding a lot of good content to the site.

Maybe create a group of veteran members and don't show ads to them?

Well, Thx at least for your reply. But infact i deal my users not just as content to make me money. I tryto build relacionships to them, to force them stayin' at my site.

Emails may are a good Idea, but there is nearly nothing good for the German traffic. And mine is...

Thats the Main Problem i guess.
