You could find a hosting for $1 or so, it would save you a lot of trouble later on.
If you don't want to spend anything, I'd say go with Wordpress.com but if you do it will require more efforts to leave them than simple hosting. You will get to choose a .wordpress.com subdomain. The good thing is that wordpress.com blogs rank better on search engines than most free hostings.

You can check https://www.freehosting.com/
They don't provide SSL and won't let you use it through third party. It has most other features like e-mail, wordpress installation etc.
