Bought bike myself for summer too since it takes only 1/2 gas of a car and what fun is it ride in hardtop car alone in summer ?
Remember to keep your calm on corners and not try anything too fancy. I fucked up on a corner once with only hoody on and still remember it, was all because of my own stupidness.

I lived most of my life in India and owned some good bikes myself.. but when I moved to the US (jersey city), i lost the love for bikes because for more the 6 months you cannot use your bike. I have always wondered what the bike owners will do with their bikes during the winters when it is snowing for months.

However that is a nice looking beast.. congrats on your purchase.. have fun..

Same here, only I was wearing a full-face. I always shlooooooww down on all turns, left or right (<=20mph) and make sure I down shift ALL the way to 1st gear (1 down) and then to second (1 up).
