While they had been targeting Facebook users around the world, all their "likes" appeared to be coming from countries such as the Philippines and Egypt.

That really made me laugh.

Also, I am sure the number of fake users are very high. Those 5-6% figures are wrong. I am assuming atleast 20% of the profiles might be fake.

At least 30-40% accounts on facebook are fake... I know people who own thousands of accounts!

Yeah back when facebook was worth marketing on I probably went thru 500 accounts a month, and I marketed on there for 2 years, so I'd guess the number is more like 30%-35% fake,not no 5-6%. But then again, facebook had 500 or 750 million(i forgot which one) online at the same time a few months ago
