Does anyone know the formula to how longtail pro keyword scores are calculated?

I know the one to KWFINDER already.

from my experience I can tell the calcs aren't quite right often - aim for a 10 kd keyword and can't rank anywhere near the first page.

I have coded my own keyword difficulty app and it would be nice to put in the ltp score. It already has KWFINDER and my own custom scores.
