Looks like the latest update rollouts are not stopping!

November 2023 Core update is the longest there has been in recorded history at whooping 24 days so far!

Reviews 2023 update is beyond the announced two weeks as well and counting. Currently at 2nd place after December 2021 one.

Could there be a conflict between updates?

Will we even get the usual, infamous December Core update?

Feel free to share your thoughts.

Here comes another one, face palm. Hope this one bring my site back to the top.

Looks like a New Year surprise. :)
As always they only know what they are up to.

I just hope it doesn't create more headaches as we already have lots of things messed up in the algorithm.

Maybe Google has changed how it rolls out updates. I noticed a weird change on one of my sites that has been steadily increasing slowly but stopped all of a sudden. Didn't realize there's still an ongoing update.

Have we permanently entered the era where updates would permanently e running?

They should complete it before the start of next month when they launch the December update.

This is happening because of huge increase in number of websites . This should be an indicator for new bloggers to estimate possible competition for them.

Easy... because it was thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday.

With such shopping period frenzy, Google has to shuffle the search results to affect everyone, especially affiliate and ecommerce sites (ahem... review update).

So might as well let these 2 updates run past these shopping period so webmasters and business owners (with huge stocks preordered) have to go for paid ads (a.k.a Adwords) as a desperate measure. More ad revenue for Google as a result.

It is so damn bloody obvious of what Google is doing.

Off topic, but does anyone here actually believe in these SEO experts and SEO agencies?

Google algorithm was relatively difficult but possible to understand just 5 years ago IMO.

I don't really care what google does, but this stuff is almost impossible to understand now due to the randomness and frequency of updates. How do people still pay money to SEO agencies?

I had a conversation in the gym a few weeks ago with a guy who works for a medium sized SAAS company that was paying $5k per month to an SEO agency. Mind boggling.

Yes, I do believe.

That is a problem if you're limited to just learning SEO.

Instead you need to understand how the current system works.

And the best way to do that is practically working on different types websites.

That's why experts and agencies can crack SEO ranking game while others find it difficult.

Aren't they getting any results from that expenditure?

5k monthly might seem too much to you but depending on the size of business and niche competition the price varies.

The only way to reduce it to either do it yourself or hire in house staff.

My friend. I don't need your advice, I am making more money than 99% of people on blackhatworld and I didn't need to buy a blue name or scam anyone to do it either.

Your "advice" is some of the most generic and meaningless words I've ever read.
"You need to understand how the current system works" - no shit.

No, it doesn't because I'm not poor and that wasn't the point. But nice assumption.

Well you posted something here & I replied to your post.

You never asked for any advice & what I said was not an advice.

I don't know why you brought earnings here.
I also don't understand why you brought rich & poor here.

I only shared what I have known & learnt working for past 15 years.

My bad I replied here and sorry to offend you.

Good luck!

I will keep a note not to offend you with my generic reply.

With 5k month you will get roughly 10-20 niche edits on top websites, so its not that much of a budget.
I agree with what @AliceInSEOLand wrote above, google doesn't give a f*** about us, all it cares is for marketers to increase their budget on adwords this way they earn more, they also don't give a f*** about the final user's experience, but then again google is a big corporation all they want is their profit to be higher and higher.

Just my 2c

You're answering rhetorical questions in a sarcastic manner. Don't play the victim.

If you've been working for 15 years in the same industry and still live in a shithole don't give me advice.

Looks they no longer bother to report at all.

There have been severe fluctuations in December and at least one in January already.

But the report stays the same.
