Hey everyone,
Been reading threads on BHW for a long time before getting around to making this account. Most of the time I'd end up here through Google when something was breaking on my end and I needed answers fast. Felt a bit weird taking so much from this place and giving nothing back, so figured it's time to fix that.
Quick background - i have been working in the SEO and online space for around 6-7 years. Started with small niche sites, killed most of them by being stupid in the early days, slowly figured out what actually works. These days I spend most of my time on WordPress stuff, server admin work, and link building related projects.
Not claiming to be an expert in anything. A good chunk of what I know came from threads I found on this forum at odd hours when something on my end wasn't working. The rest came from breaking enough of my own projects to learn the hard way.
What I'm hoping to do here:
- Reply in sections where I can actually add something useful instead of just lurking
- Ask questions in areas I'm weak in (some of the newer AI angles, also cloaking which I never properly got into)
- Meet people doing similar work, especially anyone from this side of the world
That's about it. Looking forward to actually being part of the conversation instead of just reading from the shadows.
