I'm currently banned from:
Poshmark (management said verbatim, "you've sold a f*k ton of sex toys on our platform!"

eBay (I have been selling on eBay since I was a kid. They banned me during the pandemic because they said I was price gouging n95 mask. It was a father/son project selling things my dad would steal from work (hospital). lol so we had an arsenal of health products and had an account in good standing until the pandemic. People were auctioning our n95 mask and they were really throwing money down. But keep in mind, we had these products before the pandemic. Years before. No one ever bought them. Then we got banned.

Walmart Marketplace (I milked the hell out of Walmart. I hate this company. They banned me because I had a frequent customer who would purchase my products and then get a refund. He did it constantly every single weed. And Walmart would allow the return. I lose money and i lose product. One day I got fed up and called him personally and told him how trash he was as a person. I'm not usually mean. But c'mon, 12 weeks of you buying stuff and getting refunds is really burning a hole in my pocket.

Etsy (Etsy was a real BEACH. They banned me for selling sex toys. but that's the messed up part. The messed up part was the staff all ordered themselves sex toys and once I shipped out, they banned me and kept the product. Never got paid)

Offer-Up (they said I was selling guns but i am not an idiot.)

long story short, i can't keep a regular job so i rely on making money online.

and so i came here to look for new ways because doing it the other way didn't work out for me.

I hope to engage with each of you and learn a lot.

If you're good at spotting trends (like the N95 situation), you could also look into lead generation, niche ad campaigns, or private buyer networks. Plenty of opportunities out there—you just need the right approach.

At first it hurts. But the hustle must go on. So I'm always evolving. Taking everything I did wrong on those platforms and making sure I do better. Now I'm on Wish, Google Merchant (i figured out how to get approved for restricted items) the trick is to not post a picture directly of the item you're selling. Instead go to something like canva or placenet and post what you're selling on something like a billboard. They have loads of options. I dont know why this works but it does. I think it's considered subliminal advertising. Other than that I do have my own website now and fb marketplace is my biggest money maker. same deal when posting restricted items on fb. put the photo into another photo and make it blend in.
