Long Time Lurker, ready to finally make stuff happen

Hello!

My name is Jordan. I've been a lurker on these forums for at least 5 years, and I've learned a lot about IM but I've never actually DONE anything with it.

I was living in New York City for 3 years for school, doing volunteer work, blah blah blah... and real life came crashing down on me recently. I have a decent day job now but my dream is to travel and work online. So I'm ready to get this thing going!

Advice is keep learning in your spare time, start experimenting and scale up once you find what works for you.
Keep the safety blanket of your job wage ( for now at least ).

It would be wise to try and get experience working online for a wee bit before you go full out and be travelling digital nomad. Hone your skills and get testimonials and learn how to attribute a proper sufficient value for whatever services you want to provide.

I second what MisterF says, do not quit your day job. At the same time, slow and steady does win the race.

As you know there are so many ways to skin a cat... Do you plan on building a list or review sites for products or services? blogs? Amazon? FB IG T SC ??

Usually it all starts with a hope and dream, but a dream without a plan is just a hallucination. Does a domain name need to be registered?
