Hello BHW,
Been lurking these forums for a very long time, I think since around 2008.
Anyways I am posting because I feel it is time.
TL;DR
I am here to help with any areas that I have extended knowledge in, and to gain more knowledge of SEO / Marketing / Life it self.
Longer:
I have failed to run about 10 businesses, spent 100s of thousands US dollars on training, classes, "guru" courses, co-launching multiple businesses, drinking and whatnot (Yea I'm probably that guy you scammed at some point). I have learned a lot in my journey, and still don't have it figured out. Over the span of my 15+ years of working in the IT field, jumping from job to job, I have landed myself in a low-mid range consultant position. I continue to pursue my own online business but I get scattered and pulled away easily, due to life and just overall lack of sticking to one thing. I have a wife and 2 kids, a degree, 100k+ student loan debt, and still in the middle class of Americans. I am very grateful for what I have, and enjoy giving back any way I can, but looking for my own small business life.
Okay, that is out of the way.
If I am being 100% honest I am here because I am looking for some honest information on doing this properly. I want someone to cut the sh*t and give me some real information that isn't soaked in half-a$$ed courses, some affiliate link that some guy down the street pays them to promote, or another "hack shortcut" to success. I feel that I have most of what I need to succeed, but missing some random piece that I haven't been able to find in the last 15 years.
I am probably forgetting something, but that is the introduction to me.
