Maybe short term it would mean more income, but in the end (let's say 5 years), I think I can get more from real, good content and keep investing in daily fresh articles. $0,10 per word is an estimate, but maybe it's too much. Not sure how much it costs for top quality, researched content.

Hey swohlert, I would suggest you to start building links from start to, because to not lose time and slowly do that just not to rank for especial some keywords just to make domain authority, I start similar project before 2 months all my articles are for high competition keywords and I already now getting some ranked from 2-4 page without links to those pages... for some not that competitive im on first to... My plan is very similar to yours... I'm still on about 5 articles per week and spending about 100$ per week maybe more but i do SEO alone...and ahrefs url and domain authority are now already over 40. After 6 monts I think I will be able to very easy rank all my inner pages. Ask me if need some help with this project!
